Were We Hunt:
We have property located in the rich soils of the Missouri Confluence – in St. Charles County. We have hunted these fields for the past 13 years with many wildlife management tactics in place. Our property is located 15 minutes from HWY 70 in St. Charles, MO. This property is less than a 1/2 mile from the Mississippi River and is surrounded by privately family owned waterfowl fields. We are very fortunate to have private land owners in this area that have acres of rest lakes on their property that they do not hunt to aid us in holding birds for long durations during migration.
Marais Temps Clair
Missouri Department of Conservation Wildlife managed area is only 2 miles from our location with over 1,000 acres of waterfowl area. Columbia Bottoms another MDC property has been developed into a waterfowl managed area which is located approx. 20 miles to the east. Several other MDC properties are directly north of this property along the Mississippi with the migration passing directly over this property. Currently we have 2 joining flooded corn fields (40 acres) with several pit blinds to accommodate the weather patterns. We have 1 - 9 acre natural slough in the middle of the property with one blind located in the middle of this for early Teal season and also offers great Woody shoots and can offer an excellent flight day opportunity. We are currently looking to flood our north lake in 2007/2008 season which will provide both flooded corn and dry land – this field will be from layout blinds and will be closed during the Missouri Deer Rifle Season. Although snow goose hunting has not been a major attraction for our guides – the past two years this property has seen an overwhelming number of Snow geese. There is on site lodge to allow you to warm up, relax before the afternoon hunt, or to play a quick game of cards. We currently do not offer lodging at this location, but there are several hotels within 10-20 minutes from this property.
We also have access to over 2,000 acres in the confluence area for dry land hunts and goose hunting.

NEW:
In 2007/2008 we will also offering our parties the opportunity to secure a DVD of their hunt. This is a service that we have not offered to our customers, but is another opportunity to capture your adventure with us and will allow you re-visit your adventure with us. It is also a way to show the boys back home the hunt you experienced. Please note: Although we offer this service as additional charge our camera a persons are not professionals in this field, but average hunters that have filmed many of our private hunts. The quality will be that of nature and we will strive to capture the hunt the best of our ability. Additional cost to produce this is $100 and $7.00 per copy. Depending on the time frame we will try to achieve the copy prior to your departure, otherwise we mail the copies to your address at no additional fee. Also not all dates are available for this service and is dependable on weather conditions as well.
Guided Hunts:
Currently we are only offering guided hunts on this property. This property is hunted by season leases and will not accommodate unguided hunts for the duck season.
We will accommodate your group’s requirements. We have the ability to meet the individuals request for amenities. We can tailor to meet what you and your party may request.
Our goal is to provide you and your hunting party a low cost hunting experience in the DUCK capital of WORLD! At the same time we want to strive to achieve your demands while you are here, with in reason and make your experience with us on that you and your hunting party will look forward to every year!
Fully guided includes (2 – 4 hunters):
- Use of the lodge (day use only)
- Decoys
- Guide (are guides will work their experience to add to your experience – we encourage taking care of your guide)
- Lunch – Either prepared or at one of the local restaurants
- Processing of your ducks for travel back home
- A hunt you will remember!
- Cost is $175 for a full day or till you obtain your limit
Un-Guided Hunts:
Un-guided hunts are only available for goose hunting and are limited during the regular duck season. Snow goose hunting is also available with access to over 2,000 acres to pursue these birds.
Unguided hunts include:
- Directions to the fields
- Several decoys are available, but suggest bringing your own
- Your skills to add to your experience
- Cost is $300.00 a day (multiply day/week discounts available)
